Hello! You are getting this email because I’ve either worked with you, am hoping to work with you, am friends with you, or am related to you. Needless to say, you are important to me! And so, I wanted to share a new component of my real estate business—namely, my real estate and lifestyle blog, Forty-One Degrees North, which is focused on all things Connecticut and all things real estate. The meaning behind its name is the fact that the latitude of the State of Connecticut is forty-one degrees north. 

I hope you find my blog articles to be helpful and entertaining. When I recommend a product or a place to visit, I want you to be assured that I’ve put much thought into each recommendation. When I explain a concept related to real estate, I want you to be comfortable that I’ve not only done the research, but I have experience related to the topic I’m writing about.

Property prices, in general, kept inching up throughout June 2024, in Litchfield, Fairfield, and New Haven counties—in some areas more than others. Anecdotally, I’m noticing more price adjustments on the MLS and longer days on market. However, properties that are priced appropriately and that are at a desirable price point are still going under contract quickly (hint: within a day or two). It’ll be interesting to see what July brings. Here is the Market Snapshot for last month, May 2024, to compare.
