Across most regions, prices moved higher year over year, even as transaction volume varied by county and buyers took slightly more time to make decisions. Price gains were evident across the state and in Litchfield, Fairfield, and New Haven Counties. State of Connecticut
The number of sold listings decreased by 3.01% from October 2024 (3,126 homes sold) to October 2025 (3,220 homes sold). The median list price during this time increased by 7.72% from $389,900 to $420,000 and sold price increased by 7.51% from $399,949 to $430,000. Median days on market increased from 11 to 12.
Litchfield County
The number of sold listings decreased by 2.54% from October 2024 (197 homes sold) to October 2025 (192 homes sold). The median list price during this time increased by 8.77% from $365,000 to $397,000 and sold price increased by 7.3% from $363,000 to $389,500. Median days on market increased from 16 to 20.
